Over 40 years ago, when I first came to this country, I found myself yearning for the familiar comfort of Vietnamese cooking—especially Phở. Growing up in Vietnam, the scent of Phở (pronounced ‘fuh’) was as natural as the air we breathed. It’s more than a dish; it’s a symbol of home, family, and tradition.

My mother, Miss Tu Nguyen, shared that same longing. Like so many other Vietnamese immigrants, we missed the fresh vegetables, the vibrant flavors, and the perfect balance of sour, sweet, savory, salty, bitter, and spicy that defines Vietnamese cuisine. So, my brother and I set out to bring that experience back to life here in the U.S., not just for us, but for everyone who craves authentic Vietnamese food.

Together, we created Phở Hot Restaurant as a tribute to our mother and the rich culinary traditions of Vietnam. In May 2024, we celebrate our 20th anniversary! We invite you to join us—whether you book a reservation or order online, you’ll experience the true taste of Vietnam in every bite.
